Lap/ Open Cholecystectomy
Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, commonly known as keyhole surgery, is a minimally invasive procedure to remove the gallbladder due to gallstones. It involves small abdominal incisions, insertion of a laparoscope, and surgical tools through ports. Carbon dioxide gas creates space for operation. After gallbladder removal, the incisions are closed with dissolvable sutures. This technique offers quicker recovery and less discomfort.

Piles Surgery
Piles resolve on their own and do not require any treatment. However, some piles need surgery to make sure it doesn’t become a cause of cancer.
A haemorrhoidectomy is a surgical procedure to remove severe haemorrhoids, typically performed as a day surgery under general anaesthesia. Haemorrhoidectomy is recommended when other treatments fail or when haemorrhoids are too large.

Anal Fistula
An anal fistula is a painful condition involving a tunnel from an abscess to the skin near the anus, causing discomfort during bowel movements. Anal fissures are tears in the rectum’s lining, leading to pain and bleeding. It’s essential to consult a doctor for diagnosis and treatment, which may include surgery for persistent cases. While discussing these symptoms might be embarrassing, professional advice is important for relief and to rule out conditions like hemorrhoids. Surgical treatment is often the last resort after other therapies fail. These issues are common and manageable with proper medical care.
